This article is really an eye opener. It tells that retailer often abuse the word Organic in order to increase sales. It is easily abuse since it is not covered by the law. Therefore please read the ingredients carefully before being taken in that its Organic. Read on this article to understand Organic better and how to choose the right product. The website also shows various other info about organic shampoo like how to choose them and why to use organic shampoo.
http://www.organicshampoo.org/
Organic shampoo is considered to be the healthiest as well as the safest shampoo since it is made from natural ingredients which are meant to enhance the quality of one’s hair through their natural attributes. It is true that a shampoo is as good as its ingredients and therefore while buying a shampoo one must go through the list of ingredients which is mentioned in order to ensure the true nature of the shampoo.
An authentic organic shampoo is the one which is made from all natural and organic products which have been declared as being natural and organic by the law. This automatically excludes the synthetic ingredients and preservatives like artificial coloring and urea which are sometimes added to the shampoos.
This problem arises due to the fact that since the term ‘organic’ does not have any official definition, it is often misinterpreted and misused by many shampoo manufacturers in a bid to augment sales. Hence, while buying an organic shampoo one must ensure that it does not contain ingredients like grapefruit seed extract, wheat protein and PEG as these are harmful substances which are not only toxic and allergy-causing but are also carcinogenic in nature.
A genuine organic shampoo is laced with natural fragrances like jasmine and lavender in addition to natural oils like coconut and essential oils as well as filtered or de-ionized water. Some of the other ingredients which can be commonly found on the label of a bottle of this shampoo are rosemary, tea tree oil, green tea extracts, white camellia oil and ginseng.
There are a number of advantages which are associated with organic shampoo and one of the foremost advantages is the health benefit which is provided to the user. Since this shampoo is made from the natural herbs and plants, it can be safely used without having to worry about allergic reactions, carcinogens or other harmful chemicals. Another advantage is that such a shampoo can be easily prepared at home with all the available natural ingredients and used for acquiring healthy and shiny hair.
The repeated use of organic shampoo not only improves the quality of hair but also repairs the damaged hair and moisturizes it so that there is no additional treatment required. It is also beneficial for the scalp since it has been proved that regular usage greatly improves the quality of the scalp thus affecting the over all health of the hair in terms of reduction of hair loss. For more information , read the organic hair shampoo and organic baby shampoo articles

Offending substances
INGREDIENTS in personal care products which you should be concerned about:
Oxbenzone: Used as a “penetration enhancer”, this chemical is found in sunscreens, lip balms, lipsticks, moisturisers, conditioners, anti-ageing creams and fragrances.
It has been linked to allergies, hormone disruptions and cell damage.
Parabens: Common preservatives in cosmetics and toiletries, including shampoos, moisturisers, shaving gels, toothpastes, lubricants and tanning sprays.
They are endocrine disruptors, and can affect reproductive systems. Check for methyl-, ethyl-, propyl-, butyl- and isobutylparaben.
Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS): Used to produce the lather in soaps, shampoos, toothpaste, hair colouring, tooth-whitening products, body washes and cleansers, SLS is an irritant and drying agent that builds up in heart, liver, lung and brain tissue.
Paraphenylenediamine (p-phenylenediamine or PPD): A chemical found in hair dyes, it can cause irritation and damage to the nervous system and lungs. Some researches have linked it with cancer.
Coal tar: Possible carcinogen, found in dandruff shampoos and anti-itch creams.
Phthalates: Often used in fragrances to help hold scent. They might affect body hormones, causing reproductive and developmental harm, and have been linked with feminisation of male babies.
DEA (diethanolamine): Used in shampoos to increase lather, it can affect hormones, and cell functioning and development.
Formaldehyde: Used as a preservative and found in such products as baby bath soap, nail polish and hair dyes as a contaminant or break-down product of diazolidinyl urea, imidazolidinyl urea, bronopol and quaternium compounds.
Formaldehyde is a probable human carcinogen and can have other toxic effects.
Lead and mercury: Lead, a neurotoxin, can show up in lipstick and in products that have hydrated silica, such as in toothpaste. Mercury, found in the preservative thimerosal, is in some mascaras.
Petroleum distillates: Check for the terms “petroleum” and “liquid paraffin” in such products as mascara and foot-odour powder.
The European Union restricts or prohibits petroleum distillates as possible human carcinogens.
Hydroquinone: Can be found in skin creams and under-eye treatments. Limited evidence links it to cancer in laboratory animals.
Antibacterials: Overuse might contribute to increasingly resistant bacteria, and they contaminate the environment. Triclosan, an agent used in many soaps, can affect the thyroid.

My dad has been nagging me about the dangers of using many cosmetic/perfume and beauty products. As he could not really elaborate why, all his words has fallen on deaf ears as i nod silently to what he says. Until one day he shows me this article(to prove his point) did i realize that my beauty products can cause me lots of harm! And that the organic product that i bought and which are supposedly safe and preservative free - is not safe at all! In this article it shows a very important website call http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/ which state the product or ingredient which are hazardous. I realize that most of my perfume and my loves ones are all rank at least level 8 hazard over 10!! I swear that i will never buy perfume again - not that i can finish my present ones~! Beauty secrets
By TAN CHENG LI
How safe are the creams, lotions and colours that we apply on ourselves? The Skin Deep website will tell you.
I’VE been poisoning myself. I’ve just discovered that the Parisian fragrance which I dutifully spray over myself every morning has a “hazardous to health” ranking of “high”. And the gel that I’ve been smoothing around my eyes in the hope of reducing unsightly eyebags, is “moderately hazardous”, as is my shampoo. And they all contain ingredients linked to cancer, developmental and reproductive toxicity, allergies and immunotoxicity.
Looks like in my endeavour to look drop-dead gorgeous, I might well just, drop dead. We all turn to personal care products to look our best but sometimes all that lathering, slathering, powdering and painting can do more harm than good. Some of these products contain substances that are not only irritants, but are toxic to the body – and the environment – in the long term.
Dangers from grooming: We clean and primp using all kinds of products. There is now a website that tells us which product is safe, and which is not.
I learnt about the chemicals which I’ve been feeding myself with when I logged in to Skin Deep (www.cosmeticsdatabase.com), an online cosmetics and toiletries safety database created by the Environmental Working Group (EWG). It’s a great resource for finding out the toxicity of products you are using and to find products that are safe.
Sure, we’ve all been told countless times to always read product labels to determine what’s good and what’s not but often, the ingredient lists of bodycare products look like gobbledygook. Fortunately for us, EWG has navigated through the ingredients minefield, assessing them for hazardous contents, then listing down the information in the Skin Deep website.
Skin Deep has safety reports on more than 54,000 cosmetics and personal care products. They are ranked on a scale of one (safest) to 10 (most hazardous). The toxic effects of some 9,000 ingredients are also explained. It also lists down the top 20 brands and companies of concern. With such information, consumers can make informed decisions about what to buy and what to avoid.
We all think that the ingredients in personal care products have been safety tested before they are sold. But it is not so. According to EWG, the United States Food and Drug Administration does not test cosmetics for their health safety (with the exception of colour additives) before they go on the market. In the United States, a group called the Cosmetic Ingredient Review evaluates the safety of products but critics point out that it is industry-funded.
Product manufacturers often insist that levels of lead, parabens and phthalates found in cosmetics are so low they wouldn’t pose a risk, but activists worry about the cumulative effect of using multiple products.
“As people apply an average of 126 unique ingredients on their skin daily, these chemicals, whether they seep through the skin, rinsed down the drain or flushed down the toilet, are causing concerns for human health, and for the impacts they may have to wildlife, rivers and streams,” says EWG.
So the final advice from EWG is this: choose personal care products containing fewer ingredients and choose fewer products overall.

ALLANO Hand & Body Lotion Review
Its a moisturizer. To use just shake and spray on hand. The spray function makes the design quiet unique and fun actually!
Ingredients. Its not very clear due to the design of the bottel. But not to worry I will just restate the ingredient: Water, PPG-5-Ceteth-20, Isobutane, Isopropyl, Palmitate, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Acetate, Cetearyl Acohol, Triethanolamine, PEG-40, Sorbitan Peroleate, Polysorbate 60, Propylene Glycol, Fragrance, Glyceryl Stearate, Diazolidinyl Urea, Carbomer, Acetylated Lanolin Alcohol, Allantoin, Phenyl Trimethicone, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Stearamidoethyl Diethylamine
The back
The review:
This lotion has many function and its very fun to use. Other than treating it as a moisturizer, it can also be use as a mosquito repellent and for injuries! Yes you heard it right! If your area has lots of mosquito, just use the lotion as per normal and you will have worry free night sleep. Some people also use it when there is minor cuts/bleeding/minor burn. But i never tried it on myself when i am injured. Due to certain ingredients stated I do not think that i will use it on the wound. The design makes the lotion rather fun to use, you need to spray it out and its very foamy. Just swipe the foam around your body and its non sticky. The smell is also rather relaxing.
However the bad side is that the ingredient does raise a few eyebrows.
Parabens (a kind of preservative)-endocrine disruptors and can affect reproductive syste
PEG-40:Not safe for use on injured or damaged skin
Fragrance (usually all perfume has Fragrance which is hazardous for health - only found out recently).
Diazolidinyl Urea and Isobutane - Additive

ARTISTRY Pore Mask. The difference between the old and the new mask
Comparing the ingredients of both old pore mask and the new pore mask (essential), it looks like both of the mask are the same! They are the same from their exact wording of their packaging rite down to the smell of the mask. Left side is the new mask/right side is the old mask.
The back part of both mask
Good thing that i didnt throw my old box away~!! And looks like I dont have to be sad that the old mask is "no longer in production"! Since the old mask equal the new mask. But if you buy the new mask thinking that its a new formula and you are still using the old ones...well...looks like you can just save your money and wait till the old bottle finish!

EC Italy Sealed Ends
Another hair product that i love is this hair product that i bought from the Danga Bay shops. Unfortunately I could not find any info about this hair product in the net. I am also not sure whether the brand is ESC Italy or EC Italy. I bought this hair product for RM25 for 160ml. It does not say where its made from but it says that its distributed by Siltex Sdn Bhd from Malaysia. After using finish the 1st tube, I went back and bought 2 tubes!
I wanted to find a hair product to solve my spilt end issue. I have rebonded my hair a few times. My hair will look pretty and straight but eventually they will look disperse due to split end. I have use this hair product for 2 years. I have rebonded and cut my hair about half a year ago. Amazingly I do not see visible white doted split end on my hair. Other than solve my split end issue it also repair and moisturize my hair so that it look silkier and softer.

ELIANTO Organic Olive shampoo/conditioner/essence Review 2
I feel my hair is really silky. I have overcome the non bubble issue by pressing 3 times on my palm and rub them between my palm before scrubbing on my hair. When i first use the whole set i feel my face itch. Now the itching has stop. I also like to pin my hair for many hours to prevent my hair from covering my forehead. I notice that when i remove the pin there will be little or no pin marks on my hair! When i use Asience shampoo, the bad thing is that when i pin my hair there will be an ugly mark left on my hair. So I am really happy with this product~

Shopping spree with amway products
Finally my order has arrive! So excited with the things that i bought~ its been a while since i spend so much on amway. went a little overboard cos the supply a bit hard to get! Spend about RM420 on the whole purchase. Shopping really make me forget my worries and make me feel better. Some items i really want to get for a long time liao~
AMWAY SA8 Prewash Laundry Spray (350g), ALLANO Hand & Body Lotion (250g), ARTISTRY essentials Pore Cleansing Masque (100ml),ARTISTRY essentials Moisture Intense Masque (100ml), ARTISTRY Pure White Masque (75ml), ARTISTRY Cosmetic Brush 6-pc Set and NUTRILITE Protein Drink Mix Green Tea Flavour (450g)
I bought the new Green Tea flavour protein and the shaker. First time buying their protein! When i first saw the new product I immediately wanted it as it reminds me of my favourite Green Tea Ice Cream at Jusco Tebrau City and also the Starbucks Green Tea ice blended~ Will write the Green Tea review in my cooking blog~ The SA8 is a prewash. Spray the prewash on the stain when the cloths is dry, soak or machine wash and the stain will come out itself. The moisturizer is a spray/foam type and added advantage is that it can actually act as a mosquito repellent at the same time (while smelling nice)!
The Artistry new line of Pore and Moisturizing Mask! Left side is Moisture and right side is Pore mask. They look very similar though. Only the wording's are different! Will start using them when my old tube has finish.

BEAUTY COTTAGE Mask
I just bought this recently from Holiday Plaza Beauty shop that sells pretty much an interesting array of hair and beauty products. I forget the shop name.
When i see this mask i got really curious and bought em. This is the first time i bought a powder mask. The instruction from the SA is to mix this packet into 50ml of water. Once i have tried them i will write a review.
This mask that i bought is for face whitening purpose.

ARTISTRY: Replenishing Eye Creme Review
Price: ?? (mid range)
Content: 15ml / 0.5 oz
Ingredient:Not written on package and it looks like they have stop production. It could be that its replace with the Replenishing line.
Purpose: For puffy eye and Dark Circle
I have this cream for about a year plus now and i have not use it finish yet! As you only need a tiny drop to apply on the eye. This is a cream type and it is rather moisturizing. The moisturizing i belief will help in the fine lines prevention. It did reduce my puffy eye and dark circle. To use em, apply tiny drop on your ring finger and dab on the eye. Do not tug on the eye during application as the eye muscle are delicate and you will damage them.
I do not find this product very amazing. Although they reduce and at least prevent my puffyness and dark circle, it didnt really get rid of them.
The plus point is that its rather affordable for an Artistry line. It can last for a very very long time. Its moisturizing and control the puffy eye and dark circle. However it does not wow me. So i will only repurchase them if i ran out of idea what else to buy. I might try the salmon cream from skin food. Or try the estee lauder line as i heard pretty good review from them. Ideally i am trying to find a gel type that can combat puffyness/dark circle and fine lines. Apparently some cream can be too strong and cost milia seed.

SKIN FOOD: Chlorella PeeLing Gel Review
Price: between RM30-40. Forget the exact price
Content: 120ML
Ingredient: written in korean
Purpose: Fresh feeling exfoliating gel with chlorella. Cleanses and nourishes the skin.
How often can we use them: twice a week
Instruction: Apply evenly after cleansing. Avoid eye and mouth area. Gently scrub and wash off with lukewarm water after 10 - 15 minutes.
Review: I notice that almost every single beauty shop that i went to recently, they will ask me to buy their exfoliation products. When i ask why they just say that I have a lot of dead cell on my skin. Other than that i belief its also cos of my white head and black head. I read from the net that black head and white can be cause because the pore are block by the dead cells (correct me if i am wrong). Which is why i hope this exfoliation will help me with my dead cells/black head and white head. Other than that, exfoliation is a good step before make up and mask.
In short i finally bought one at skin food. This Chorella gel peel is a face exfoliation. The gel is in greenish colour. There is no beads in them like the usual exfoliation. I really like it that there is no exfoliation beads in them. After cleansing face and wipe the face dry, apply this on face and start rubbing in circles. The gel will harden and become clumps of tiny green balls. If you put a generous amount it could be quiet messy so make sure that u are in the bathroom if you dont want the green balls to dirty your room.
I think the result are great! It really "clean" my face. I notice that i cant really see my white head anymore. I am not sure whether its due to this exfolliation since i also use other mask quite vigorously this week. I still have black head though...which is expected since i only use the gel twice. One thing i am sure is that my face are really squeky clean. However on the down side.. i feel that the exfoliation manage to scrub "too clean" and i have an unusual tingling sensation after usage. Its like i manage to scrub a layer of skin on my cheeks off.
I also like to use this before i apply my mask. I feel that when the skin are clean of dead cells, the mask will be able to do its wonders better.
Overall i am really satisfied with this recommendation by the Skin shop SA.

My face problem Jan 2010
As January 19 2010- My Face Problem
-I have combination skin. My skin type is a funny thing. When i was studying U i have normal skin. When i start working my skin turn into dry skin. I use the amway moisture rich set and had one hell of a break out. Subsequently my skin turn into combination skin.
-Due to combination skin i have Oily T Zone.
-White head on forehead and Chin,
-Black head on nose.
-Milia seed. New ones forming on my cheeks - below my eye bag. Its really frustrating as i do not noe how to remove them and I am not sure of any good beautician near JB town.
-Pimples. The pimples situation has been improving since using the Vichy (green colour cleanser).
-Redness and Pimple Scar. Pimples has went down a lot but there is a "left over" of pimple whereby face has red dotes here and there.
-Uneven skin tone.
-Visible large pore mainly at cheek.
-Eye: Puffy eye, dark eyeshadow, fine lines. It will be nice to find something for firming as a preventive measure especially on my eye lids.
-slight freckles
The 2 most frustrating thing that i am experiencing are my Milia seed and my black head. I use the black head peel but in the end i always have to remove my black head manually. Needless to say my nose will be red with "holes" in it.

ELIANTO Organic Olive shampoo/conditioner/essence Review
Description: Organic Olives Scalp Shampoo 400ml/Illuminating Conditioner 400ML/ Essence 120ml
Price: RM69 for the whole set. They are having a promotion~~ (According to Lisa this price is only available in City Square JB while stock last)
Shampoo description: Contains 7 herbal extracts to deep cleanse the scalp and control sebum production. Effectively removes impurities and relieves sensitive scalp. Suitable for oily hair. NP: RM35
Conditioner description:Enriched with wheat protein, it has excellent moisturising and conditioning properties. It also replenishes nutrients to the hair and scalp. Suitable for all hair types. NP:RM35
Essence description: The rich nourishing and moisturising properties of olive oil helps to repair and rebuild the hair structure. It is easily absorbed and deeply penetrates into the hair core. Also protects hair against the harmful environmental damage. NP: RM29
While i was window shopping at City Square I went into Elianto shop just checking out their items while on break. I ended up buying their hair products due to a highly persuasive sales girl. Normally i am not easily persuaded to buy things. But this SA (her name is Lisa) is really amazingly persuasive as she really belief in her product. So i just give it a shot and bought the whole set as its having promotion and i save about 30%.
Previously I do not have a good impression of their product as their make up and moisturizer does not work on me. I also do not like how their shop smell. The shop smell like artificial plastic.
Another reason i bought this product is that i notice its free of Parabens/mineral oil free/artifical-syntetic colour free. The description reminds me of Origins products. The product is also Organic. Being Organic is something interesting as i rarely see hair products which are Organic. I also bought this because i am trying to find a hair products that will not cause me to have pimples especially on my forehead.
The design wise, I like it that the opening can twist to open/close - same as my Vichy cleanser. This way its possible to bring them while we are traveling.
I can see the results immediately during my first try. However application wise is not so impressive (mebe its due to the range being organic). The shampoo is a transparent colour. When trying to shampoo my hair there is no foam at all. Its a bit hard to use and i have to press the shampoo many times to "lather" my hair. I went back to Lisa again and ask her how to use. Apparently she also need to pump the shampoo 4-5 times. When i use the shampoo the first time i was worried that i could not clean my hair properly. Subsequent wash i get use to the idea of non foam shampoo. I try to pump a few times on my palm and use both hands to create a soapy texture before putting it on my hair which really improve the application. When using my existing shampoo, my hair will be oily the next day. But when i use this elianto scalp shampoo I do not feel the oiliness the next day.
The conditoner also i have to press more than normal but that is alright as conditioner generally takes longer time to finish. After washing its followed by the essence. As Lisa said if your hair is wet and you use the essence, your hand will not have any oil residual. However when ur hair is dry, your hand will have oil residual. I belief the essence is best use when the hair is wet. I notice that i tried when my hair is dry and i can feel a coat of oil at my hair.
My hair is a rebond style. After using the series i feel that my hair is silkier and softer. I cant stop swishing my hair here and there. However on the down side is that my hair now make my checks very itchy! I am not sure why its itchy but i will still continue using the products as the results are amazing.
So i guess in the end Lisa is right. The hair products really works for me. Time will tell if I will still get pimple due to my hair. And hopefully the itching will stop.
Learn something new: Lisa say that product that contain SILICON are bad. It will make the hair very pretty and silky but that silicon is bad for the hair in the sense that it will break the hair easily and the hair can drop easily. Good thing i learn about this as one of my favourite product from Misha (hair shine mist) reaaally make my hair look silky and pretty but they contain silicon. The negative factor is important to me as I wanted to grow long hair and I also have very little hair. So glad that she share this with me.
Lisa also said that scalp shampoo is important. This is because when scalp is oily and hair pores are block, the hair will fall easily. As hair pores are block new hair will be very hard to grow. Due to unhealthy pores, pores can actually close up. Causing you to have lesser hair.

ELIANTO Organic Olive shampoo/conditioner/essence Review 2
ORIGINS No Puffrey Review
Size:30ML. Its a very small tube. At first when i see the SA show me the tube, i ask her where is the original size? But come to think of it, we only need very little of the gel for the eye.
Best for all skin types
Usage: the SA inform to use this twice a week during the day. Not to use during the night. Not sure why she say so. And to use them when there is a puffy eye.
Advice by SA: Store in fridge. When apply have cooling effect.
HOW TO USE (as advice by the website): As needed, apply generously to under eye area. Chill out for 5-10 minutes. Tissue off. Or for an all-day treatment, apply sparingly and leave on. Follow with your favorite Origins eye cream.
Watch puffs go poof.
No Puffery™ Cooling mask for puffy eyes
Partied too hardy? Haven't slept a wink? Logged on too long? Pamper your peepers with this refreshing icy-eye remedy. Bag-banishing Yeast Extract (an insider beauty secret) de-poufs puffs as it brightens and lightens dark circles. And Hoelen Mushroom Extract calms surrounding skin to help keep redness from settling in.
Result: I find this eye mask is really amazing. First of all this mask is use for puffy eyes. When i first check the site it says that we can either put a generous amt and tissue off in 5-10 min or to put a thin layer and then follow by normal eye cream. I think its kind of a waste to apply a thick layer and wipe off when u can wear it all day.
I ask the SA why we need to put the eye cream when we already using this eye mask. The SA explain that the it does not help for dark circle or fine lines. So we still need eye cream to provide moisture and combat dark circle.
My eye problem include puffy eyes, dark circle and a bit of fine lines. The puffy eye really make me look tired. No matter how much mask i use, if my eye look tired, overall i will still look tired.
So far i only tried to apply this once. The result are great. The puffyness has really been reduce. When i work and i am really tired and stress i will have very tired looking puffy plus dark circle eye. But on the day i put on this mask the puffyness has been reduce. But my dark circle are still a problem.
The SA advice to put the tube in the fridge but i have not tried that. Will try it one day and will comment.
The life span is 6mths after opening. Pretty short considering we only need to use very little of the cream. I think thats the negative side of it. Another negative side is the pricing! Nearly make me bleed.
At the end of the day i bought No Puffrey eye mask and bought the Out of Trouble Mask for my pimples. Its really fun especially when the SA gave me some samples. Make a difference (moisturizer), Checks and Balances (facial wash), Drink up (moisture mask) and Dr Weil Plantidote Mega Mushroom Skin Calming Face Mask. I love free samples. Will blog about them once i have use them.

Out of Trouble® 10 minute mask to rescue problem skin
When skin is too-slick or when more pressing problems start to pop up, it’s Origins to the rescue to keep skin out of trouble. Nature’s trouble-shooters, including super-absorbent Zinc Oxide and Sulfur, calming Camphor plus skin-sloughing Salicylic Acid, rapidly respond to problem skin’s plight with a three-part plan - sop up oily-shine, slough off sticky, dead cells, and sweep away irksome debris. Together they steer skin clear of slippery situations, refine rough texture and pull the plug on troublemakers to oust potential outbursts.
HOW TO USE: Layer over clean face and throat. Avoid eye area. Wait 10 minutes. Remove with damp washcloth.
Review: When i first bought this mask i was really excited. Because i wanted to find a mask for my pimples. Origins product are all organic. So its nice that the mask is Organic and natural too. However application wise, the mask is white colour and it sticks to the face. Removing them are quiet tough as it tends to stick to the face. The direction says to remove with wash cloth or alternatively remove with wet facial cotton. As I do not want to tug on my face or waste my facial cotton, i still prefer to remove with water. After that i must use toner to make sure that the whole mask is properly wash off. The nice thing about the mask though during application is that the mask has a tingling cooling sensation which is quiet nice. As its a organic product they did not put any perfume in it. It smell a bit like sulfur however i can accept the smell.
The result of the mask is that it make my pimples less "angry". My pimples went down a little and the redness has been reduce. It really does a good job since the purpose i bought the mask is to remove my pimples. I also notice that my skin become smoother and cleaner as the mask can remove dead cells and debris.
However on the down side is that its very drying on my skin (i have combination skin). Even when i put on the moisturizer i still feel its very drying. Actually the SA at Origins did try to persuade my to buy the their "Drink Up" mask. But since its the first time i try their product i do not dare to buy many product at the same time. Origins product are very pricey too.
Further i can see that my pores has been enlarge. As a result to the dryness i went out and bought a hydration mask from Skin Food for rm49.90. So far i have tried to use this both mask (OOT mask first follow up by hydration mask) and my skin are not so drying. But i notice my pores are still enlarge.
I find that the mask is really "strong" and that its not a mask that can be use often. As a result subsequently i only apply the mask on the pimple area.
I also notice that my cheek has some new milia seed these days. Its really frustrating looking at the melia seed since there is no solution to its removal! I cant really pin point that its this mask giving me milia seed as i am also using other products. So for safety purpose i only apply on the pimple area
Learn something new: The SA told me Origins product are organic. Organic is good and all but i am a little paranoid that the product that i bought will have a limited life span. When i ask her this question she advice that all Origins product has a manufacturing date. Mine is 06/2009. It takes half year for the product to ship from USA to Malaysia. Therefore my product are consider new. It has a life span for about 2 years if unopen. To see the lifespan once u open the product you can refer to the tiny symbol at the bottom. the symbol show- a round can which is open with numbers 24m. It means that the product once open can last for 24 mths.

I like it that it only take 5 min to apply the mask and after 5 mins i can really see the result. My skin is fairer and smoother. The mask is a white cream with slight exfoliation beads in it. So when i apply i will try to massage my face. I am pretty scared to use the exfoliation beads which are rather rough to the skin. I will be paranoid that my skin will sag. But this does not happen in this mask.
Removing is pretty easy as the mask does not stick persistently on the skin.

These days i am really crazy about mask. I bought different mask from different brands . In the end i felt that one of the first mask that i bought years ago is the best for me. There is no description of the content at the back of the packaging thus i do not noe whats the content.
This mask is great because it really makes my skin smooth, soft, my skin are visibly firmer and my pores minimize.
After applying this mask i will usually apply the ARTISTRY Pure White Masque next which will make my skin fairer.
In the end I will get smooth, soft, minimize pores and a fairer skin.
I belief Amway have stop producing this mask and replace with the essential line which according to the description is a clay type mask. I guess i have to switch to the essential line when my pore mask ran out! Hope the effect is equally good or even better!
Repurchase: Definitely Yes! However it has been replace with another series
Satisfaction: 5/5

Satisfaction: 5/5
